Uploading Your
Pages
Using the FTP client
of your choice, connect to
www.emicami.com, or the I.P. address: 65.118.75.209
. Login with your username ( emicami ) and password.
Once logged in, you will be in the root directory
of your web site - this is where you should upload
or publish your default page (index.htm). If you
have any scripts, change to the "cgi-bin"
directory and upload them there. If you wish, you
may create sub-directories and place documents in
them as needed. To assist
you in the future, we have placed a sub-directory:
website_setup_info
in your web directory. Website_setup_info
contains information related to your hosting account
and various support pages.
Email Server
Information
PLEASE NOTE: Due to DNS issues and propagation,
you will not be able to access your mail server
URL until approximately 48 hours after receiving
your IP address.

We have setup a
mail server for your domain. The address for
your mail server is:http://mail.emicami.com:8383

At your mail server
you will be able to create and administer your
e-mail accounts and aliases, send and receive
messages, manage contacts, organize a personal
calendar.
- Please login using your username
(the same as your FTP username) and the password
you specified at the time of the order.

The POP3 and SMTP
server address are mail.emicami.com.

to Remember

Please rename
this file to: getsite.htm before uplaoding or
publishing your files. Also please do not delete
the folder: website_setup_info as it contains
support files necessary for this page.

Be careful when
modifying any of the existing files in your
directory. If you don't know what something
does, please avoid deleting it.

It is a good idea
to have at least one version of your files backed
up on your local hard drive or storage device.

If you are using
MS FrontPage, you may begin publishing to the
URL http://www.emicami.com/
once your domain is active.

If you are using
a standard FTP client, you may access your account
using your username ( emicami ) and the password
you signed up with.
